  1. What is eServicePlace?
  2. eServicePlace is a 'Services Marketplace' that provides a secure environment to buy and sell services.

  3. What Services can be sold?
  4. There are no limitations to what services can be sold. Any home repair, auto repair or event arrangement service can be sold through eServicePlace. As long as you have the necessary skillset and resources to perform the service, you are welcome to sell your service.

  5. How much does it cost?
  6. You can buy any services for free except we charge 2% security deposit when selecting the winning bid which will be deducted from your final bill from the provider. To sell a service, you have to sign up for one of our membership plan and you will be charged 2% transaction fee of your winning bid if you are the winner. However, placing service offer is free.

  7. Who is a Provider?
  8. Anyone who renders services and placed service offers in eServicePlace. Providers can bid and win the bidding for service requests.

  9. Can I become a Provider?
  10. Absolutely, if you have the necessary skillset and resources to perform a service, you can become a provider.

  11. What do I need to become a Provider?
  12. It's simple to become a provider just place service offers for services you can render.

  13. Why do you have Membership plans?
  14. We have introduced membership plans to make bidding more responsible.

  15. What Membership plans do you have?
  16. We have three types of membership plans to suit your business. They are Silver, Gold and Platinum. Place check membership plans for more information.

  17. What is a Free Trial?
  18. Free Trial is a period, during which you can try all our features completely free and once the free trial is complete, you can sign up for the plan that suites you. We want to make sure you like our services. So, we offer free trial for our best plan.

  19. What are service categories?
  20. Service categories are used to group similar requests and offers. Our marketplace is driven by the categories. So, placing service request and service offer in a correct category is crucial to one's success.

  21. Do I need to register?
  22. Yes, you have to register to buy or sell any services.

  23. When do I need to register?
  24. Our registration process is designed to get the information from you, whenever necessary. You can register during placing a service request or placing a service offer.

  25. What if I forgot my username or password?
  26. You can use forgot username/password link in the signin page to recover you username and reset password.

  27. What is a service offer?
  28. Service offer provide the details about the service rendered by the provider.

  29. Why should I place a service offer?
  30. You need service offers to place bid on service requests. You can place bids only in categories you have placed service offers.

  31. Do you charge to place a service offer?
  32. No, you can place service offers in unlimited number of categories for free.

  33. Do you charge to sell a service?
  34. Yes, you have to sign up to one of our membership plan to place bids and you will be charged 2% transaction fee of the winning bid if you are the winner.

  35. What are special deals?
  36. Special deals are discounted price for your service offer during a specified time period.

  37. How can I give special deals?
  38. Go to your service offer page, for which you want to give special deal and click give special deal link.

  39. How many special deals can I give?
  40. You can give unlimited number of special deals for a service offer.

  41. How to use special deals?
  42. When placing bid, you can choose the special deal to apply for the service offer.

  43. What kind of service offers can I place?
  44. Any service you render can be placed as a service offer. We offer 4000+ categories for your convenience. For example if you are a plumbing contractor, you can place hot water tank repair as a service offer.

  45. Why should I give a price for my service offer?
  46. This price will be automatically populated when you add this service offer during estimation. So, you don't have to remember the price of all your service offers.

  47. Will the service offer price be shown to requestor?
  48. No, this price is to help you when preparing bid.

  49. Where can I use the price specified while placing service offer?
  50. When placing bid, in estimation step, if you include a service offer, the price will be populated automatically if specified.

  51. What are questions to the requestors?
  52. These questions will be shown to requestors when placing a request in that category. This will help to capture the requirements accurately. If you have any specific questions to ask requestors, you can add them here.

  53. Why do I need to rate the questions for requestors?
  54. Top 20 highly rated questions will be displayed to the requestors in that category. So, Its important to rate the questions.

  55. Can I add new questions for requestors?
  56. Absolutely, you can add new questions.

  57. What is additional information questions?
  58. These questions will be used to establish your credibility, so, please give correct answers to these questions.

  59. Why should I answer additional information questions?
  60. These questions will be used when selected the winning bid.

  61. Do I need to answer additional information questions everytime I place a service offer?
  62. No, if the set default is checked, it will be saved and populated automatically.

  63. How to find service requests?
  64. After placing the service offer, service requests you can bid, will be displayed in the confirmation page. Service Requests will also be displayed in your My Account home page. You can also search for service requests.

  65. How to bid on a service request?
  66. Go to the service request page, you wish to bid and click place bid link. If the bidding is private, you can place a bid only if you are invited by the requestor.

  67. Where can I view my bid details?
  68. Go to My Account > Sell Services > Manage Service Requests.

  69. What is a bid rank?
  70. A bid rank, assigned to a bid, denotes its possibility of winning chance. Higher the bid rank higher is its chance of being winner.

  71. How to improve my bid rank?
  72. Various factors are used in the calculation. To improve bid rank, provide responsive bids, render quality service.

  73. What is an estimation?
  74. Estimation is the list of items and services required to fulfill a service request along with cost details.

  75. What details can I provide in my estimation?
  76. You can provide the materials, services, tools required to render the service along with cost.

  77. Can I reuse my estimation for placing multiple bids?
  78. Yes, you can save estimation as a template and can retrieve and resue later.

  79. What is the transaction fee?
  80. If you are the winner (provider), you will be charged 2% transaction fee of your winning bid value. We will use the 2% security deposit got from requestor as a transaction fee. Its your responsibility to deduct 2% from the final bill when issued to the requestor.

  81. Is the transaction fee refundable?
  82. No, Its not refundable.
